Registered Nurse-Orthopedic-Ambulatory Triage
About The Position
We are seeking an individual with a minimum of one year of RN experience for this role. This is a full-time, day shift remote position. Join our large, dynamic Orthopedic Clinic, supporting a high-volume practice comprised of 9 orthopedic surgeons, 7 sports medicine physicians, and 15 advanced practice providers (NPs and PAs). RNs play a key role in delivering coordinated, patient-focused care in a fast-paced environment, managing high call volumes while collaborating with a highly specialized, team-oriented staff. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who thrive on variety, teamwork, and expanding their orthopedic expertise in a well-established practice.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of RN experience
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
- An active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies
- Ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner
- Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse
Nice To Haves
- Associates of Nursing (ASN)
- Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred
