Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Hourly rate based on years of nursing experience/education
• Part Time (2 shifts/week)
• Every third weekend required
• Patient Ratio: 1:3-4 for PCU and 1:5-6 for Med Surg

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Ortho nursing
• Experience in PCU or Med Surg settings

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patient’s plan of care.
• Creates an atmosphere that supports the vision of being the region's most trusted partner in healthcare.
• As the primary caregiver, provides direct patient care.
• Works collaboratively with other care team members, the physician, and the patient/family to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Has access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with others.
• Works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.
