About The Position
Cura Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work on the floor. There are full-time or part-time positions available. This vital role involves providing direct patient care, monitoring patient conditions, and supporting the healthcare team to ensure excellent outcomes during weekend shifts. Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Previous clinical experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability to work every other weekend as required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients on the floor, providing support, education, medications and treatments.
- Assess patients' health status, monitor vital signs, and promptly report changes or concerns to supervisors as appropriate.
- Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols.
- Document patient care activities accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
- Encourage and empower NAR staff in their work with residents and ADLs as the shift leaders on the floor.
