About The Position

Firelands Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with IV certification for a full-time position on the night shift (7 PM - 7 AM). This role is based in Sandusky, Ohio, a scenic coastal town on Lake Erie. Requirements

Current Ohio RN or LPN-IV license.
CPR certification prior to patient care experience.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

Implements the nursing process with patients, including carrying out physician orders regarding diet, medication, and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care.
Performs assessments, monitors and ensures quality care through observation and evaluation.
Documents nursing interventions on care plans, medical records, and reports findings to physicians as needed.
Instructs patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments, nursing plans, and related patient care directed towards a safe discharge.
Responds to emergencies.
Maintains availability of medications and supplies.
Ensures cleanliness of equipment and environment.
Demonstrates service excellence and acts as an ambassador and advocate for FRMC.
