About The Position
This is a hands-on RN or LPN role with a focus on providing essential, daily clinical care. The role involves medication administration, taking vitals, collecting specimens, and ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals. The nurse will act as a health guardian, monitoring individuals and ensuring they are thriving. The position is full-time, with day shifts, no weekends, and no on-call requirements. A $5,000 welcome bonus is offered.
Requirements
- An active RN or LPN nursing license in good standing.
- Minimum of one year of RN or LPN experience OR 3 years of CNA/CMA experience for new LPNs.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
- A valid Driver's license.
- Certified in CPR and First Aid.
Responsibilities
- Provide Expert Clinical Care: Deliver precise care, assessments, and care planning, while executing physician orders.
- Be a Proactive Health Advocate: Coordinate, schedule, and sometimes transport individuals to external healthcare providers.
- Monitor & Manage Health Status: Spot changes in condition quickly and maintain accurate documentation.
- Empower Through Education: Train Med Aides and support staff on topics like infection control and medication administration.
- Build Lifelong Connections: Develop therapeutic relationships with individuals and their support circles.
