About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to all patient populations under the direct supervision of the clinic physician(s). The RN works with team members and providers to support efficient, quality patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care.

The Licensed Practical Nurse assists with patient care services as delegated or assigned under the supervision of clinic providers. The LPN works within the scope of practice established by the Mississippi State Board of Nursing and collaborates with clinical staff, patients, and their families.

Requirements

• RN applicants: Graduate of an accredited state-approved school of nursing.
• RN applicants: Current Mississippi RN license, a temporary permit valid for 90 days, or a Compact license.
• RN applicants: Knowledge of standard nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
• RN applicants: Ability to interpret physicians’ instructions and use and operate equipment and instruments used in patient care.
• RN applicants: Good oral and written communication skills and ability to educate patients.
• LPN applicants: Graduate of an accredited LPN program or completion of requirements for licensure.
• LPN applicants: Current Mississippi license or temporary permit.
• LPN applicants: Oral and written communication skills.
• LPN applicants: Function within the scope of practice according to the Mississippi State Board of Nursing.
