About The Position
Leonardtown Surgery Center is hiring a Registered Nurse Operating Room. The Registered Nurse Operating Room provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. The position requires weekdays only, with no holidays, weekends, nights, or calls. Experience in surgical procedures in Orthopedics and Pain Management specialties is required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state
- BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
- A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
- Experienced in surgical procedures in Orthopedics and Pain Management specialties
