About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide perioperative care. The nurse assesses patient status throughout the perioperative episode, develops individualized perioperative plans of care, and participates in multidisciplinary planning. The role supports SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is payable after 12 months.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current BLS certification.
• Complete Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Complete Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current PALS certification when pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope of services.

Nice To Haves

• One year of operating room and/or medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
