About The Position

Bryn Mawr Hospital is seeking a part-time Operating Room Nurse to provide 1:1 patient care before, during, and after surgery. In their 12 Operating Rooms, nurses work alongside surgeons performing a variety of cases across multiple specialties including General, Urology, Orthopedics, Neuro, Plastics, and Vascular, utilizing robotics. The role offers opportunities for career development through certifications and advanced degrees with a Tuition Reimbursement Program of up to $6,000 annually. Nurses are encouraged to get involved in department, hospital, and system-wide committees, unit councils, research projects, and the Clinical Ladder program. Requirements

At least one (1) year of recent Operating Room Nurse experience required.
RN Diploma, ASN required.
PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred.
Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 patient care before, during, and after surgery.
Scrub and circulate various surgical cases.
Work alongside surgeons in 12 Operating Rooms.
Participate in department, hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, and evidence-based research projects.
Pursue the Clinical Ladder program.
