About The Position

Join a collaborative hospital team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse, providing safe, high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the surgical experience. Requirements

• Graduate of a state-approved or accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license/authorization to practice in Massachusetts as required by law.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care throughout each shift.
• Support safe, effective, and cost-conscious patient care practices.
• Supervise and delegate appropriate patient-care activities to nursing staff.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality improvement, risk management, and infection control.
• Coordinate care within the prescribed medical treatment plan.
• Support staff competency and appropriate use of clinical resources.
• Collaborate with the nursing leadership team to promote high-quality and safe patient care.
• Follow hospital emergency procedures, including emergency codes and Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
