Registered Nurse - Operating Room
About The Position
The Registered Nurse - Operating Room works a 7:30 a.m.–6:00 shift. Late days and call are required. The nurse must be willing to float to other OSU units as needed. Two years of experience are required. Requested time off is not approved during November 22–28 or December 20–26. Requests during December 27–January 2 are at the manager’s discretion. Travelers on contracts spanning both Thanksgiving and Christmas will be scheduled to work either Thanksgiving or Christmas Day, based on organizational needs. Parking permits are available through CampusParc at several price points and locations. Annual permits may qualify for a prorated refund for unused future months; current and prior months are nonrefundable. Refund requests can be submitted using the CampusParc Return Request Form or at a CampusParc Customer Care Center. Refund checks typically take 3–5 weeks. Permits must be canceled by 6:30 p.m. on the last business day of the month to avoid the next month’s charge.
