About The Position
The operating room staff nurse gives direct and indirect specialized nursing care to patients in surgery. The peri-operative nurse in the circulating role coordinates the care of the patient, is the patient advocate throughout the intra operative experience. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Florida R.N. licensure
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
- One year as an R.N. in an Operating room setting
Responsibilities
- Gives direct and indirect specialized nursing care to patients in surgery.
- Coordinates the care of the patient throughout the intra operative experience.
- Acts as the patient advocate throughout the intra operative experience.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
