Registered Nurse - Operating Room
About The Position
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Operating Room. This position involves working 3x12 hour shifts per week, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role requires participation in on-call duties, approximately 4-6 shifts per 4-week period, and may include holiday call. The facility is a Level I Trauma Center, a Teaching Facility, and a Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds. Charting is done via EPIC. Parking is available for a $20 registration fee for a hang tag, which allows use of the garage. Travelers should be aware of potential assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November), with peak activity in August and September.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience required
- Must be able to circulate General surgery cases for Surgical Onc, Colorectal, MIS (DaVinci), Plastics, Endocrine, Panc/Bili, Bariatrics
- Must be able to scrub General OR cases: Surg Onc, Colorectal, Pans/Bili MIS (DaVinci), Plastics, Endocrine, Bariatric
- SC or Multi-state RN license must be in hand at start of contract
- BLS certification (AHA)
- ACLS certification (AHA)
- Radiation badge required

- First-timers accepted only with 5+ years of experience
