About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Mansfield is hiring a Registered Nurse Operating Room. This position requires weekdays only, with no holidays, weekends, nights, or calls. The Registered Nurse Operating Room provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. The role requires experience in surgical procedures in various specialties including General, Robotic, Colon & Rectal Surgery, ENT, Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Urology, Gynecology, Spine, and Pain Management. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state
- BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
- A minimum of 1 year experience working as an operating room nurse
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
- Responsible for positioning the patient.
- Responsible for prepping the patient.
- Responsible for circulating the case.
