Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Nursing)
About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse position in the Operating Room (Nursing) at Northside. The schedule varies, with shifts from 0630a to 5p, and call is required. The facility is seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years of RECENT experience within the specialty, specifically with expertise in Neuro and Ortho. Robotics experience is also beneficial. Experienced travelers must be versatile. Northside has specific holiday expectations for this role, requiring the nurse to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of RECENT experience in Operating Room nursing.
- Expertise in Neuro and Ortho surgical procedures.
- AHA BLS certification.
- AHA ACLS certification.
- Experience with CERNER EMR system.
- Must be able to work required holidays: 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
- Must provide badge photo by Wednesday prior to starting on Monday.
