About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room (OR) on a travel contract basis. This position is ideal for RNs with surgical experience who are comfortable in fast-paced OR settings and delivering exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Georgia (or eligible for licensure)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
• Ability to work night shifts and a 4x10 schedule
• Strong clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to function effectively in high-pressure surgical environments

Nice To Haves

• Prior Operating Room experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a surgical environment
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all instruments and equipment are ready
• Monitor patient status during surgical procedures
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist the surgical team
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members
• Ensure accurate documentation and patient safety throughout procedures
