About The Position
This is a travel/contract position for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room at an acute care facility in Santa Rosa, CA. The role involves providing direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures, functioning effectively as a circulating nurse in various surgical specialties, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The nurse will maintain a safe and sterile operating room environment, perform accurate patient assessments, documentation, and medication administration, and monitor patient status throughout the perioperative process. Adherence to hospital policies, AORN standards, and patient safety protocols is essential.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience
- CA state License
- AHA BLS/ACLS certifications
- EPIC charting experience
