About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Operating Room. This position operates on a Monday-Friday schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM. Candidates must be willing to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve). No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Operating Room.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
- Document patient care activities accurately.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Respond to emergencies as needed.
