About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse position in the Operating Room in Kansas City, Kansas. The shift is from 19:00 to 07:00 (12-hour evening/night shift) for a 13-week contract. The start date is 08/09/2026. Responsibilities include floating to all operating rooms as required and performing on-call duties as needed. Requirements include proficiency in specific surgical areas and experience in a nicotine-free facility.
Requirements
- Proficiency in ENT (trach/airways, head/neck flaps, ears, soft tissue cases), Neuro (burr holes, craniotomy), or Surgical Oncology (robotics)
- Level I trauma experience preferred
- KS or Compact RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Experience in a nicotine-free facility required
Responsibilities
- Float to all operating rooms as required
- On-call duties as needed
