About The Position

Atrium Health University City is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Operating Room. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week, consisting of five 8-hour shifts, and requires on-call duties. The facility has 9 Operating Rooms and offers various specialty service lines including Orthopedics, Robotic, General, Urology, and Gynecology procedures. It is the only Atrium facility with the AORN Go Clear designation for maintaining a smoke-free environment. The team is described as small, close-knit, and collaborative, with supportive surgeons. Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

• One year of previous Operating Room experience strongly preferred
