About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room for Texas Health Ft. Worth Midtown. The RN assesses patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care, develops individualized perioperative plans of care, and serves on a multidisciplinary team to plan patient care. The role supports SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values. SCA Health is part of Optum and supports a network of ambulatory surgical centers, specialty physician practice clinics, labs, and surgical hospitals. The organization emphasizes clinical quality, integrity, service excellence, teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and inclusion. The listed pay range is USD $35.00 to $50.00 per hour.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current BLS certification.
Complete Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current ACLS certification.
When pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope of services, complete Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current PALS certification.

Nice To Haves

One year of operating room and/or medical-surgical nursing experience.
Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing.
