About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room at Newport Coast Surgical Institute. The nurse assesses patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care, develops an individualized perioperative patient plan of care, and works as part of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative care. The role supports SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values. The listed pay range is USD $55.00 to USD $60.00 per hour. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum of 1 year of operating room experience.
Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current BLS certification.
Complete Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current ACLS certification.
When pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope of services, complete Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current PALS certification.

Nice To Haves

Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.
