About The Position

This position is located within the Operating Room. We handle all types of elective and emergency cases performed, including abdominal, thoracic, Urology, ENT, Plastic, Orthopedics, Vascular and OB/GYN. The role requires efficient multi-tasking to ensure surgical cases proceed throughout the day in a timely manner. The position also utilizes after-hour call services to staff the Operating Rooms (OR) for nights, holidays, and weekends. Experienced OR travelers are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (BSN or ADN)
• High school diploma or GED
• A valid, current, full and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska.
• 3 years OR circulator experience.
• Flu vaccine required.

Nice To Haves

• Current BLS ACLS PALS
• Experience in Critical Access Hospital and/or Rural Operating Rooms strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
