Registered Nurse - OP Infusion-Oncology - Ambulatory
About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to support our oncology clinical team and physicians. In this role, you will collaborate closely with providers and clinical staff to educate, support, and advocate for our hematology and oncology patients. This is a highly rewarding and dynamic position that offers continuous professional growth and learning opportunities. Our clinic is home to eight providers who care for patients daily, creating a collaborative and fast paced environment. If you are passionate about patient care and looking to make a meaningful impact, we would love to meet you! Clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of RN experience.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may apply for candidates with >2 years of experience, subject to CNO approval).
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
Responsibilities
- Educate, support, and advocate for hematology and oncology patients.
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff.
- Assess patients without face-to-face interaction (may be required).
- Understand the legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
