About The Position
This is a Full Time Registered Nurse position in OP Chemo/Infusion, working Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, for 40 hours weekly. The RN is responsible for prescribing, delegating, and coordinating nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family education, and providing leadership by collaborating with ancillary, nursing, and other patient-team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. The role also involves creating a positive customer service environment.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.
- ADN or higher
Responsibilities
- Assessment and identification of patient needs
- Implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service.
- Delegation of nursing care activities and provisions of supervision
- Establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care
- Assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems
- Performs technical aspects of care competently.
