About The Position

The role is in an outpatient oncology clinic, requiring a registered nurse with at least 1.5 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in oncology. Candidates must have completed at least one 13-week travel assignment and live more than 100 miles from the facility.

Requirements

• At least 1.5 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in oncology
• Completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
• Live more than 100 miles from the facility
• Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
• Must be a registered nurse licensed in South Dakota
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency in EPIC Ambulatory system
• Clinic experience with skills including patient rooming, order processing, and assisting with exams and procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide first assist and chaperoning for provider exams and procedures done in clinic
• Room patients; perform vital signs, review of systems, medication reconciliation, and weight assessment
• Obtain orders and process patients for infusions/communication if cleared
• Conduct chart checks and set up for procedures
• Review referrals and coordinate with departmental leadership and team resources
