Requirements
- Associate's of Nursing (Required)
- Bachelor's of Nursing
- Master's of Nursing
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
- Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Responsibilities
- Evaluates quality of patient care and outcomes based on administered treatments.
- Directs and coordinates nursing personnel activities on designated shifts, overseeing staff and patient care.
- Assures real-time documentation, including review of task lists and prompt initiation and sign-off of physician’s orders.
- Advises nurses on the appropriateness of calling physicians.
- Assists staff in using electronic quality management tools to evaluate treatment plans and ensure quality outcomes.
