About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Oncology department at St. Elizabeth facility in Appleton, WI. The position is part-time, 32 hours per week, with shifts between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm. The nurse will implement and monitor patient care plans, record and communicate patient conditions, serve as a primary coordinator for patient care across disciplines, carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.

Nice To Haves

Certification specializing in Chemotherapy preferred.
Oncology experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Implement and monitor patient care plans.

Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
