About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology at Via Christi, St. Francis in Wichita, KS. The position involves implementing, monitoring, and adapting personalized care plans, acting as the primary advocate for patients by communicating critical condition changes in real-time. The nurse will serve as the central hub of the clinical team, harmonizing efforts across multiple disciplines to ensure a seamless healthcare journey. Responsibilities include translating physician and nursing orders into high-quality clinical actions, ensuring safety and accuracy, and collaborating with the healthcare team to assess and coordinate comprehensive discharge plans.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
