About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy outpatient gynecologic oncology practice in Atlanta, GA. This role requires strong clinical expertise in oncology care, excellent patient management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of Georgia or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – Required
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – Required
- Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC/OCN) – Required
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient setting
- Administer treatments and medications in accordance with established protocols
- Monitor patient conditions, assess treatment responses, and report changes appropriately
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and follow-up care
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and support staff
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards
