About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Oncology Department at the Ontario location. The RN will assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients within the physician clinic under the supervision of a physician or Allied Health Provider. Responsibilities include patient and family teaching, acting as a patient advocate, and coordinating clinical staff regarding patient flow and operations as directed by the physician.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS certification or obtained within six (6) months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) or more years of previous experience in a physician office.
Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans and implements the nursing care of patients within the physician clinic with the supervision of the physician or Allied Health Provider (CNP/PA).
- Participates in patient and family teaching.
- Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility’s missions.
- Provides coordinator to the clinical staff as to patient flow and clinical operations as directed by the physician.
