About The Position
Exciting Nursing Opportunity at UPMC Western Maryland! Are you a Nurse or soon-to-be Nurse ready for a dynamic role? Join our 7 South/Oncology Med/Surg Unit! We offer rotating shifts, a career ladder, and competitive pay based on your experience. Our unit provides high-acuity patient care focusing on respiratory conditions, ENT surgeries, chemotherapy, and palliative/comfort care.
Requirements
- 0-2 years experience
- Good clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and positioning of patients
- UPMC-approved national certification preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse either in the state where the facility is located or in a state covered by a licensure compact agreement with the state where the facility is located.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Graduate Nurses will have 120 days from graduation to obtain the RN License
