About The Position

Regions is seeking an experienced RN to work in a full time, day shift position in our Woodbury Infusion Clinic. In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, you will provide professional nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation in accordance with Oncology Nursing Society and institutional standards of care. When working in the oncology clinic, the nurse functions in a care coordination role, addressing patient needs and communicating with physicians, inpatient, homecare, and hospice staff as appropriate. When working in the chemotherapy infusion room, administers chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and other intravenous medications according to established standards. Demonstrates a caring, competent manner to instill patient confidence and contribute to an environment that is centered on the needs of patients and their families.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in nursing with one year of RN experience OR completion of a bachelor’s degree in nursing OR master’s degree in nursing.
  • One year hospital nursing or equivalent experience.
  • At least one year in oncology care or outpatient oncology clinic setting OR at least one year of infusion therapy experience.
  • Registered Nurse license in the state of Minnesota
  • Registered Nurse license in the state of Wisconsin (or received within 1 year of hire or have documentation showing it is in-process within 6 months of hire).
  • BLS through AHA certified program.

Nice To Haves

  • Recent experience in chemotherapy administration preferred.
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
  • ONS/ONCC Biotherapy and Chemotherapy certification
