About The Position

We’re looking for a Weekend On-Call RN Full Time Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. You’ll provide direct patient care services to hospice patients and supportive care to the patient’s family after normal business hours on an on-call basis. You will maintain primary control and professional management of each patient. You will act as primary liaison between physician, patient/family and hospice team. You’ll evaluate patient/family needs and care for each patient. You'll complete admissions and pronouncements. You’ll maintain all assigned patient clinical records.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of requested employment (or eligibility to obtain)
• 1+ years of nursing experience
• A hospice heart: compassionate, calm, and dependable in urgent care situations
• Excellent clinical judgment and the ability to provide support in emotionally intense settings
• Comfortable providing care in patients’ homes, facilities, or wherever they reside
• Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
• Current CPR certification

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of hospice, home health, oncology, or palliative care experience
• Familiarity with symptom management, triage, and after-hours home-based care
• Prior experience in on-call or overnight nursing roles
• Strong documentation and electronic medical records (EMR) skills
