About The Position

Join our Occupational Health Ambulatory Clinic, where RNs play a vital role in supporting employee health, safety, and wellness through proactive, preventive care. This supplemental position offers flexibility while providing opportunities to perform assessments and screenings, support workplace injury care, deliver education, and collaborate closely with employers and providers. Clinic hours are 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, with the greatest scheduling need Tuesday through Thursday. This position requires 1–2 days per week and is located at 1402 N. Capitol Ave., Indianapolis, at the IU Health new hospital construction site.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may apply for candidates with >2 years of experience, subject to CNO approval)
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
  • May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction
