About The Position

This role involves delivering high-quality direct patient care in an OBGYN Physician Practice setting. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for comprehensive nursing care, patient monitoring, developing and implementing individualized patient care plans, and proactive discharge planning to ensure a safe transition for patients.

Requirements

BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

Drivers License credentialed from the Maryland Department of Motor Vehicles preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality direct patient care in strict alignment with organizational policies, evidence-based protocols, and safety standards.
Continuously assess, record, and communicate changes in patient status to the multidisciplinary team to ensure rapid response to clinical shifts.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized patient care plans, adjusting interventions based on ongoing assessment and patient outcomes.
Proactively assess discharge needs from admission; collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a safe transition to home or post-acute care, including patient education and follow-up scheduling.
