This PRN supplemental position includes responsibilities such as performing and interpreting non‑stress tests, administering vaccines, delivering prenatal education, providing pre‑ and post‑operative teaching, and managing telephone triage. Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of OBGYN RN experience
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may be made for candidates with over two years of relevant clinical experience, subject to CNO approval)
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
  • May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction
