About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit. The RN provides comprehensive care to obstetric patients, ensuring safe maternal and neonatal outcomes. This role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and special care nursery settings.

Requirements

• Current BLS
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 3 years of Obstetrics nursing experience.
• Candidates with less than 3 years may be considered if they have prior travel experience or specialized OB exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using intermediate fetal monitoring and clinical assessment skills.
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries in coordination with physicians and surgical teams.
• Support newborn care, including participation in neonatal resuscitation as needed.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Assist less-experienced staff and support unit operations to ensure continuity of care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards.
• Work scheduled shifts, including holiday coverage, as needed.
