About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join a float team at a healthcare facility in Falmouth, Massachusetts. The RN will coordinate and deliver comprehensive patient care, provide patient and family education, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, high-quality nursing practice.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Active Massachusetts RN license
• BLS certification required
• Completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
• Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Exam
• Minimum of 2+ years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN experience
• Strong IV skills; must be able to perform own phlebotomy

Nice To Haves

• Travel experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices
• Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses
• Manage telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, cardiac medications, and chest drainage devices
• Provide care for post-operative, orthopedic, geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients
• Respond effectively to urgent and emergency situations
• Document accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Manage pain control, restraints, advance directives, and end-of-life care
• Identify and report suspected neglect or abuse in accordance with legal requirements
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
