About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, specialized nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic, interventional, and electrophysiology procedures. This role requires expertise in circulating and monitoring functions, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The RN will work closely with physicians, technologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes, including participation in shared on-call coverage.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state or compact, as applicable)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and interventional procedures

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with diagnostic catheterizations, PCI, EP, and structural heart procedures preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures
  • Perform circulating and monitoring roles during Cath Lab procedures (rotated per case)
  • Continuously monitor patient hemodynamics, ECG rhythms, and clinical status
  • Administer medications per physician orders and facility protocols
  • Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control standards
  • Assist physicians and technologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, including cardiac arrest or procedural complications
  • Accurately document patient care, procedures, medications, and outcomes
  • Participate in scheduled on-call coverage, including nights and weekends
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Ensure proper use, handling, and maintenance of Cath Lab equipment and supplies
