About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, specialized nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic, interventional, and electrophysiology procedures. This role requires expertise in circulating and monitoring functions, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The RN will work closely with physicians, technologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes, including participation in shared on-call coverage.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state or compact, as applicable)
Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required
BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA preferred)
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and interventional procedures

Nice To Haves

Experience with diagnostic catheterizations, PCI, EP, and structural heart procedures preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures
Perform circulating and monitoring roles during Cath Lab procedures (rotated per case)
Continuously monitor patient hemodynamics, ECG rhythms, and clinical status
Administer medications per physician orders and facility protocols
Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control standards
Assist physicians and technologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures
Respond promptly to emergency situations, including cardiac arrest or procedural complications
Accurately document patient care, procedures, medications, and outcomes
Participate in scheduled on-call coverage, including nights and weekends
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Ensure proper use, handling, and maintenance of Cath Lab equipment and supplies
