About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse specializing in OB/GYN. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, with a preference for travelers. Locals are accepted with a potential rate difference. The work setting is a clinic environment focusing on High Risk OB & OB/GYN. RNs are required to bring their own stethoscope. The average daily census is 14, with approximately 28 visits per day. The position offers 40 hours per week for 13 weeks. The shift is 8-hour days from 07:30 to 16:00, with no call, float, or weekend requirements. The patient age group includes Adolescents & Adults, with diagnoses such as High Risk Pregnancies. Special procedures include IVF, GDM, and Twins. The unit uses EPIC. Clinic orientation is 32 hours. Scrubs are not provided; black scrubs are required. The manager requires an interview with the candidate before making an offer.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 Years of Experience
  • Traveler Experience: Clinic
  • High Risk OB & OB/GYN Assessment Skills
  • Ability to interpret laboratory results
  • Ability to obtain Vital Signs
  • Ability to gather Patient Health Questionnaire/History/Allergies
  • Cardiac Arrest/CPR certified
  • Experience with Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests
  • Experience with Telephone Triage
  • Knowledge of Biohazard waste disposal
  • Experience with follow-up phone calls
  • Experience with Medication refills
  • Experience with Patient Teaching
  • Labor & Delivery Skills
  • BLS certification

Responsibilities

  • Perform High Risk OB & OB/GYN assessments
