About The Position
UW Medical Center-Northwest's Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Clinic is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to join their team. This clinic offers a comprehensive range of services, including wellness exams, pregnancy care, minimally invasive surgery, family planning, nutritional counseling, management of menopausal issues, and screenings for PCOS and endometriosis. The nursing team collaborates with patients to create individualized care plans that address their physical, emotional, and spiritual health, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care. This part-time position emphasizes work-life balance.
Requirements
- 2 years of inpatient or outpatient OB/GYN nursing experience.
- Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State.
- BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist providers with pregnancy-related services and routine gynecologic assessments.
- Handle OB/GYN phone triage on a daily basis.
- Provide nursing advice in person, via phone, and via telehealth.
- Answer patient calls and eCare messages.
- Follow up on medical records and test results.
- Manage prescriptions and referrals.
Benefits
- BSN (or higher) premium - $1.00/hour
- Certification premium - $1.25/hour
