About The Position

This role involves providing supervised assistance to licensed medical staff, aiding patients with mobility and personal care (ADLs), and monitoring and documenting patient status. The position also requires maintaining a clean and organized patient environment and ensuring medical equipment is ready for use.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

Executes fundamental clinical and non-clinical tasks under the guidance of licensed medical staff.
Aids patients with safe positioning, transfers, and general movement to ensure comfort and safety.
Provides hands-on help with essential daily activities, including hygiene, grooming, and feeding.
Monitors and records the patient's physical and emotional status, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing team.
Maintains a clean, organized patient environment and ensures medical equipment is ready for use.
