About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Nursery department, working the night shift. The position requires the ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members, and co-workers with a strong customer service focus. Successful candidates will possess strong assessment, organizational, and problem-solving skills, enabling them to prioritize multiple tasks and role components. The ability to function independently and exercise sound judgment in interactions with physicians, the interprofessional care team, patients, and their families is essential.

Requirements

• Current RN License
• ACLS/BLS certification required
• NRP certification with in 12 weeks of employment.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification or within 12 months of hiring.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a strong customer service focus.
• Strong assessment, organizational and problem-solving skills as evidenced by the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and role components required.
• Ability to function independently and exercise judgment in interactions with physicians, interprofessional care team and patients, and their families.
