This Nurse Residency Program is designed for new graduate nurses with less than one year of experience. The program blends core clinical training with specialty-specific education, including quality and safety classes, simulation labs, one-on-one skills validation, hands-on learning with clinical mentors, and ongoing professional development. The Nurse Resident is responsible for attending all quality and core curriculum classes, participating in professional development workshops and peer support groups, and completing all clinical competencies and validation requirements. They work under the supervision of the Clinical Education Team and a licensed Registered Nurse to refine nursing knowledge and skills, manage clinical situations, and provide patient care. Adherence to organizational policies regarding licensure, training, employee health, confidentiality, infection control, and medication administration is required.
