About The Position

This role involves delivering direct patient care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and provider orders. The nurse will implement and monitor care plans, track and communicate patient condition updates, serve as the primary coordinator across healthcare disciplines for well-managed patient care, and assess and coordinate discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
