About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Neonatal ICU (NICU) team at a leading healthcare facility in Mayfield Heights, OH. The NICU provides care for critically ill newborns and infants, and the nurse will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standard of care for these patients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent NICU Level III experience.
• Required Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP.
• Permanent Ohio RN License or a Compact State RN license.
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate assessments during orientation (acceptable scores are required).

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to neonates in a Level III NICU.
• Perform assessments and monitor the condition of newborns with critical health needs.
• Administer medications, assist with procedures, and provide specialized nursing interventions.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate families on the care of their infant, supporting them emotionally and providing clear instructions.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and functioning, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
