About The Position

The licensed registered nurse is a responsible and accountable professional nurse who provides evidence-based clinical care to designated patients utilizing the nursing process. This involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care according to established ethical/cultural codes and standards of nursing practices. The role requires working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes and demonstrating respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in every interaction with patients, families, visitors, and colleagues, regardless of cultural background. Requirements

Graduate from accredited School of Nursing.
If eligible, must have a Compact (multi-state) License in their primary state of residence.
Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state-required courses.
Focus of education promotes nurses’ ability to practice in clinical area assigned.
Demonstrates knowledge of nursing theory, clinical practice standards, procedures, policies and competence in mathematical calculations associated with medication administration.
Successful completion of preceptorship and orientation to the facility and clinical area.
