The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Special Care Nursery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) provide high-quality, family-centered care for infants requiring specialized support. The care model is individualized and developmentally supportive, designed to promote physiologic stability and optimal growth for each infant. Families are essential partners in the care process, participating in decision-making and engaged from admission through discharge.
