About The Position

Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence is looking for a full time day Registered nurse to join our NICU! The Davis Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Baystate Children’s Hospital is the region’s only Level III NICU. We have a team of neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, residents, pediatric subspecialists, respiratory therapists, and neonatal nutritionists here to care for our littlest patients, 24 hours a day. Continuing Care Nursery part of NICU- infants go there to be monitored after they graduate NICU.

Requirements

Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
Minimum 2 year of inpatient RN experience required
Diploma in Nursing (Required)
Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
Registered Nurse - State of Massachusetts

Nice To Haves

2 year of Mother/baby or NICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Care for littlest patients, 24 hours a day.
Monitor infants in the Continuing Care Nursery after they graduate NICU.
